
Boney Nathan is a highly trained and experienced English as an Additional Language/Dialect (EAL/D) teacher who has worked in both overseas and Australian schools and other educationalinstitutes. She has held various school leadership positions, run Classroom Management and Student Engagement Strategies workshops, and has presented at local and international online webinars. Boney is passionate about increasing EAL knowledge through sharing best practices.
Boney’s qualifications include a Master of Applied Linguistics from Edith Cowan University, a Post Graduate Certificate in International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) from Melbourne University, and a B.Ed. TESL (Hons) from University of Malaya.
Since moving to Melbourne in 2016, she has presented at local and international online workshops and webinars. She is currently part of the School Leadership Team as an EAL Learning Specialist and Curriculum Coordinator at a public school in Melbourne. She has recently completed co-writing and publishing a step-by step Cooperative Learning Strategies Guide for teachers. Boney is passionate about growing EAL knowledge through sharing best practices.
