INSPIRING MASTER TEACHERS
Building a community of lifelong learners!
Learning is a life long endeavour. Without continuous learning, we as teachers will become irrelevant to our students. Global migration and the ongoing refugee crisis means we face new challenges in our daily lessons. We are not merely delivering the curriculum anymore. We now face the daunting task of making our lessons matter when our students are surrounded by a myriad of distractions and can simply find the answers to their questions with the tap of an app on their mobile phones or laptops.
We need to ensure that all our students including our English as a Second/Additional Language (ESL/EAL) students:
actively engage and participate in our classroom tasks.
learn how to work in teams.
negotiate and reach consensus.
develop social skills to help them navigate the world beyond school.
continuously process, reflect and improve on their learning.
Let us show you the possibilities in having 80% or more of your students engaged in their tasks.

Testimonials
Excellent facilitator! Very well informed. Very practical, easily understood content. Boney is caring and obviously has a lot of experience in the classroom. It was obvious she could relate to what teachers are facing. Comfortable and encouraging environment. Knowing that I am doing the right things within the classroom and now having “terminology” for these actions feels amazing.
This session was fantastic as a beginning teacher. I appreciate the provision of resources and the
session has given me some great collaborative ways to engage all students, as well as highlighting
the cultural considerations I need to think about as I teach English to EAL/D learners.
Even though I work as an Education Support teacher, I found much of today’s information relevant and helpful. It is like being given a nudge to keep the brain thinking. Great workshop which I think all teachers and ES should attend.
The activities were clearly explained and easy to follow. Friendly, understanding presenter who supports classroom teachers. Thank you once again Boney. I enjoy getting excited about going back into my classroom and trialling some of your ideas.
Very engaging speaker. Organisation is always great! Very clearly delivered – non-judgemental and safe environment fostered. Cooperative learning activities were interesting , worthwhile and enjoyable.
Boney is a warm and friendly presenter with a good grasp of what teachers' workload and challenges are. Brilliant organisation of resources/materials.
It was a fantastic session with great resources, thank you Boney.
